Captain America: Invisible War

It feels weird to think that Captain America: Civil War was released just three years ago, although that may be simply because of how much has happened in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in that time. The problem I had recently is being far too familiar with the movie, that I made a little mistake...

Movies

Namely, I skipped it when jumping from Ant-Man to Doctor Strange - not because I'd forgotten about it, but because I assumed that I had to have already reviewed it considering how important it was in the ongoing Infinity Saga, and even more so after the last two Avengers movies. To make up for it, I'll be posting a review of Civil War this Saturday, regardless of whether I see any other movies between now and then.

Games

I'm still progressing through Modern Warfare 2, but it's already a bit of a slog and nowhere close to the brilliance of Call of Duty 4. It has pretty much the exact same flaws and has added even more for good measure - the opposite of what a sequel should do really.

Spider-Man on PS4 still hasn't been touched in over a week, knowing that I have a Mary Jane 'stealth' mission to go back to when I start it up again. It'd be easier to push through it if I liked the character, but I really don't like this version of MJ. I don't want to sound like J. Jonah Jameson, but give me Spider-Man!

I'm also still really enjoying both Alpha Protocol, where I'm trying to remember how to best set up a good ending, and Assassin's Creed Odyssey, where I've just finished the first episode of the first DLC story arc, Legacy of the First Blade.

I don't know which will be the next game reviewed - as it will depend on which I finish first - but it's probably safe to say it won't be the New Game+ mode of Spider-Man. Maybe I can fit in a shorter indie title to fill in the gap.

TV

Next Monday will finally see the review of Orphan Black's third season, which I enjoyed much more than the second. It still has some pretty serious flaws, with a lot of wasted time on characters that don't really do all that much, but at least it left me looking forward to starting the next season.
