Time to hopefully relax after a very hard year.
My day job getting busier and busier with no pay increase in sight, the stress of buying my own place to live at last, and my dad passing away has made 2025 a year I'll be glad to see the back of by relaxing and doing little besides eating and drinking over the next few days.
MOVIES
As you might see from the title directly belo, I repeated a pairing that really does go well together, and Barbie is still so much fun that it still remains an easy recommend,
That said, Oppenheimer is still the superior movie of the two and absolutely rockets by so fast that you won't believe it's three hours long.
GAMES
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
I have to say that, while I'm enjoying my time with Expedition 33 so far, I'm not entirely sure what all the fuss is about - I'm admittedly still very early on, so later moments might change things, but it's been 'very good', not quite 'great' yet.
I've already beaten this on the Series S, but am going through it again on my new PC, with what was already a very good-looking game now looking truly stunning - it helps that the game is pretty damn good too.
Hitman: World of Assassination
I picked this up again to play the Eminem Vs Slim Shady Elusive Target missions and all I can really say is: what the fuck? An absolutely surreal experience taking something comfortable and familiar, twisting it into something bizarre and new.
Also currently playing: Batman: Arkham City, Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)

Okay, I still haven't started Star Wars: Rebels' final season, so look forward to a post about it next week!
