Star Wars: Rebels, Season One

Rebellions are built on hope - but getting paid would be nice too.

Here's what I've been watching and playing over the last seven days...
MOVIES
Man, do I love this movie and all its grimy nastiness - although I may have chosen to watch this a month too soon as I think I'm getting the 4K version for my birthday...
GAMES
Main game finished at long last, and apparently I have the season pass and all the DLC that comes with it - no idea how long all that will take to get through, especially as the extra content doesn't seem to be as well marked as it was in Odyssey.
I've decided to go for the 'golden' ending and am enjoying the even-better looking journey than it was on PS4, while trying out a few new options here and there to keep things interesting and still getting to hear new lines and see new scenes.
FTL: Faster Than Light
Starting to get more and more frustrated, with the difficulty feeling more and more like it's linked to the strength of my ship and crew rather than progress through the game.
Also currently playing: Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)

Star Wars: Rebels, Season One
Season summary: The crew attracts the attention of Agent Kallus of the Imperial Security Bureau, who wants to eliminate them as a threat before they can spark a wider rebellion. (Wookieepedia)
Episode 9, “Gathering Forces”
A decent part two to the previous episode, and a nice insight into how Ezra’s power in the Force is growing in unexpected ways.
Episode 10, “Path of the Jedi”
A great Jedi-centric episode – Force visions are always fun!
Episode 11, “Idiot’s Array”
Lando! A fun, if shallow, caper – don’t really like how Lando ‘knew’ exactly what was going on though.
Episode 12, “Vision of Hope”
Another pretty good episode, even if I’d already figured out a certain reveal from a previous episode, never mind what Hera picked up on during this adventure.
Episode 13, “Call to Action”
Grand Moff Tarkin shows up and things get serious – really, really good episode.
Episode 14, “Rebel Resolve”
Another really good episode that felt a lot like Empire Strikes Back to me for some reason.
Episode 15, “Fire Across the Galaxy”
Another really great episode with easily the best action in the series so far, and the reveal of Fulcrum as Ahsoka! Which would’ve been a pleasant surprise if I hadn’t watched Clone Wars first…
Oh, and Darth Vader has arrived.
Star Wars: Rebels' first season felt a little unfocused in the first half and I did wonder if I was going to regret watching the show, but I'm most definitely eager to continue on now. [7/10]
