There was no post last night thanks to deciding at the last minute to watch a preview screening of Little Women, which I'm glad I did as it was excellent and everyone should watch it when it comes out on Boxing Day in the UK.
Yes, those four up there can take most of the blame for a lack of content last night, but I don't hold it against them in the slightest as Little Women turned out to be one of the best movies I've seen this year. Expect a review this Saturday.
Earlier in the week, I also got to see a special preview of Parasite, which isn't out in the UK until 7th February 2020, which was also really, really good. I'll be posting a review the Saturday after that (28th December) unless more unexpected cinematic treats pop up between now and then.
Oh, and there's apparently a new Star Wars movie or something coming out? I'll be reviewing that on Wednesday as a Christmas Day review.
Things have been a little slow on the gaming front, although progress is being made through both Assassin's Creed Odyssey's Fate of Atlantis DLC and Disco Elysium (review probably delayed until January 2020 now). I've also been playing through the Hitman (2016) levels in Hitman 2's legacy content and thoroughly enjoying it too. I've only got the last level to go so might well review Hitman-inside-Hitman 2 at some point.
Still waiting for The Good Place to come back - only update is that it's apparently a feature-length finale and not just a run of episodes? No idea if it's true as I don't want to investigate and ruin the surprise, and I'm sure I'll enjoy it however it ends.
Still planning a review of Fingersmith as an audiobook although, like Disco Elysium, this most likely won't happen now until January 2020.
