Resistance to what? A consistent level of quality?
Please excuse the day's delay - technical gremlins meant pushing things back, so here's everything I've watched and played over the last eight days!
MOVIES
What with Brand New Day about to release, I thought I'd watch my favourite solo Spidey MCU movie and it's still pretty good - if anything, I think my opinion of it has improved over the years thanks to seeing where it all led.
GAMES
Sorcery! Parts 1 & 2
I'm approaching the end of part one (I think), but 1 & 2 come together which is why they're both in the title.
It's pretty decent fun so far, and it can be pretty quick to get through, so I may do a speedy second run at some point in the future.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
I'm past the battle of Kaer Morhen and building towards the final showdown with Eredin and the rest of the Hunt, but taking my time doing other quests first.
I'm already comfortably over-levelled for the endgame now - without even trying to be thorough - and enjoying it just as much as I always have.
Also currently playing: Batman: Arkham City, Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)

Star Wars: Resistance, Season 2, Episodes 8-14
Episode 8, “Rendezvous Point”
Another okay episode, this time introducing Torra’s mother as a new character who flawlessly escapes the First Order’s clutches, because of course she does – I liked her violent little astromech better. [6/10]
Episode 9, “The Voxx Vortex 5000”
Fucking awful – the problems are caused by the heroes knowingly and willingly allowing the villain to cheat… repeatedly. [1/10]
Episode 10, “Kaz’s Curse”
Another really poor episode dealing with pirate curses and superstitions that can easily be skipped. [2/10]
Episode 11, “Station to Station”
Much better, although a few unnecessarily silly moments spoil what could have been a really strong episode. [6/10]
Episode 12, “The Missing Agent”
A really good episode trying to rescue a Resistance agent from a bounty hunter working with the First Order – and an unexpected continuation into the next episode too! [8/10]
Episode 13, “Breakout”
A surprisingly great ‘part 2’ to the story started in the last episode, filled with twists, turns, torture (yes, in a kids show no less!) and action.
The only real problem is it does leave you asking why the show can’t be like this all the time? [9/10]
Episode 14, “The Mutiny”
A decent episode, and one centred around battle droids from the Clone Wars? Good stuff. [7/10]
This show is so frustrating! It's basic level seems to be average-to-decent most of the time, but every episode that's good or better seems to need 2-3 absolute stinkers to balance it out.
Ah well, final batch of episodes next week - can it finish with a bang?
