Blog | NaNoWriMo Is Coming...

NaNoWriMo

If you don't know what this is, you can read about it here, but the long and the short of it is that I'll have even less time than usual to write for the site in November, so the number of posts will be drastically reduced for the length of the month.

Reviews will still go up - I'll be aiming for at least two each week - and so will Premier League predictions, but there will be no blog posts like this unless I somehow get 50,000 words written before the end of November.

Yet again, creating more work for myself...

Movies

Tickets are booked for First Man and Bad Times at the El Royale for tomorrow, so expect reviews of those two movies soon, followed pretty swiftly by A Star Is Born, which is planned for Sunday at the moment, and hopefully nothing will happen to change that.

I may even squeeze in a screening of Venom if I get the chance, but that's a very low priority for me and the others I go with to the cinema.

Games

Spider-Man is still being played, and I'm enjoying it less and less the longer it goes on - and holy crap does it go on and on... and on. As a review of that is still probably quite a way off, I'll be posting a review of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild soon instead.

And just to repeat from a previous blog, the aim in December is to do a play-through of Dragon Age: Origins to round out the year. I'm still not sure which origin story to use out of female noble and female city elf, as they both have great origin-specific narratives - but I've got some time to figure that out.

As for Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, I haven't played that in so long now that I don't think it's worth resuming once Spider-Man is finished. Disappointing as it started so promisingly, but at least I can actually go back to do The Longest Journey first and play the story in the proper order when my random game picker choose that series again.

TV

No particular series set to be reviewed just yet, but I am looking forward to Daredevil's third season next week. However, as I am now reviewing the Marvel Cinematic Universe in in-universe chronological order, it probably won't be getting reviewed until 2019(!).
