The Force is (slightly) strong(er) with this one.

For once, this is what I've been watching and playing over the last two weeks...
MOVIES
A horrific subject matter than a horror film, but still so disturbing that I think it can quite rightly count as being a valid Halloween watch.
As is tradition for Guy Fawke's night, although this re-watch was obviously delayed due to my dad passing away.
GAMES
911 Operator
I've finished the 'career' mode, but then discovered that the game can generate(?) maps of pretty much anywhere to play the game on, letting me discover that it's quite hard, according to this game, to be in the emergency services where I currently live!
Dispatch
Funnily enough following 911 Operator is a new game about a superhero in charge of a group of 'reformed' villains to act as a new emergency service.
It looks and sounds great, and I'm really enjoying the story so far - up to episode three at this point - but I just wish that each episode was longer.
Slay the Spire
While I am still enjoying it for the most part, I'm really beginning to think the randomness of roguelikes is putting me off all these games - losing should be the player's fault, not bullshit served up by a game.
Also currently playing: Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
TV
Star Wars: Rebels, Season Two
Season summary: The Ghost crew starts working with the wider Rebel cells, but are divided between joining the larger network and waging open war on the Empire, or staying out of a large-scale fight. (Wikipedia)
Episode 18, “Shroud of Darkness"
Another episode featuring Force visions, which I love; Yoda again; and a reference to Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords! Good stuff.
Episode 19, “The Forgotten Droid”
Wow, a genuinely touching and funny droid-based episode.
Episode 20, “The Mystery of Chopper Base”
A so-so episode that felt a lot like a previous episode having to fight off territorial creatures.
Episodes 21 + 22, “Twilight of the Apprentice”
This show knows how to do finales! Maul returning, multiple Inquisitors dying, Vader vs Ahsoka, Kanan blinded; and this is all taking place on Malachor, where KotOR II ended!
Appropriately enough for the amount of Dark Siders present, that game was subtitled The Sith Lords.
Star Wars: Rebels' second season is stronger than its first, but still felt at times like it was lacking direction in the episodes between major events, although it does finish with a bang to be sure. [7/10]
